The Louisiana Society of Professional Surveyors (LSPS) is recognizing two Fugro survey companies for their innovative mapmaking.

Offshore positioning leader Fugro Chance placed first in the category "miscellaneous maps" with an offshore Gulf of Mexico map. Sister company John Chance Land Surveys, Inc. placed both first and second in the category "color presentation maps". The Fugro companies will receive the awards at the upcoming annual convention of the LSPS in Alexandria, LA. The maps were judged on content and layout of data shown, presentation, and innovation. Fugro has over 200 offices in 50 countries. The group interprets and processes data collected at sea, along the coast on land, and from the air.
