Fugro Chance receives safety award

Offshore survey company Fugro Chance Inc. (Chance) adds another achievement to its safety award collection.

Chance was presented a "Vendor/Supplier Appreciation Award" by commercial diving company Epic Companies during a recent safety banquet in Marerro, LA.

Epic Vice President of Operations, Mike Brown recognized Chance for its stellar safety record in providing surveying and positioning with no TRIR (total recordable incident rate) on Epic jobs during 2002.

Epic’s President Julie Rodriguez stressed the importance of recognizing vendors that take safety to heart.

Fugro Chance President Phil Stutes commented, "Many companies like Epic are reaping the benefits of and recognizing value in the investment Fugro has made in its behavioral-based safety program."
